Who we are

Normandy Isles Foundation, Inc., 865 N Shore Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33141, operates this website. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Ideas: the title, description, category, your name and any photos you upload. These are shown publicly.
• Contributions: your name (or "Anonymous neighbor"), amount, optional message and the details needed to send your donation confirmation. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.
• Upvotes: for new votes, your verified email address and account identifier prevent duplicate votes across devices. Your email is not shown publicly. Existing anonymous votes are retained.
• Community accounts and comments: first name, last name and verified email are required to vote or comment. Approved comments display your first and last name, but never your email. Comments are checked by an automated moderation service; off-topic or uncertain comments remain private for Foundation review. A review notification is emailed to the Foundation moderator. Harmful content is blocked and identified profanity is removed automatically.
• Newsletter: only if you opt in, we store your verified email address, the consent wording and the date you agreed. Newsletter signup is optional and is not required to vote.
• Admin accounts: email address and password for Foundation volunteers who sign in.

How we use it

• To display ideas and initiatives and track funding goals.
• To verify votes and maintain a newsletter contact list only for people who explicitly opt in.
• To issue donation confirmations and keep the financial records the Foundation is required to maintain.
• To report finances to our Board and members. Financial records are open to members on reasonable request, but we do not publish individual contributors' contact details.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with political campaigns. We share data only with service providers who help run the site or process payments, or when required by law.

Public information

Names and messages you choose to include with a pledge, and everything in an idea submission, appear publicly. Use "Anonymous neighbor" if you prefer not to be named.

Retention and your choices

We keep contribution records as long as needed for accounting purposes. You can ask us to remove an idea, photo or public name, or to correct your information, by writing to the address below.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
